Pastor Ralph & Deborah moved to Gig Harbor Washington in 2000. Born and raised in Southern California, Ralph gave his life to Christ in late 1972 at a Love Song concert. Ralph studied the Word and entered into ministry under the leadership of Chuck Smith of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa.

In late 1975 Ralph pioneered and pastored a new, exciting, and thriving church plant in Bakersfield California. Sensing a clear directive from the Holy Spirit and a deeper call to worship, accompanied by an increasing flow of the manifestation of the Spirit ,and the regular demonstration of the gifts, the church would later change its name and affiliation with Calvary Chapel, to become Westbrook Chapel, Bakersfield,CA; a charismatic interdenominational congregation.

Deborah received Christ in 1982. From the moment she gave her life and heart to Jesus she was filled with a passion for intimate worship unto the Lord. Deborah enjoys being alone with God, ministering and singing to Him, ministering to the sick in hospitals with song and prayer and participating in a team worship setting. She also has a heart and call to prophetic worship. In 2007 the Lord called Ralph and Deborah to pioneer and pastor a new church plant in Gig Harbor, Washington called Zion’s Gate Church.

Both Ralph & Deborah are fully committed to the power and leading of the Holy Spirit and His desire to seek out, save and heal the hurting and lost. The Brier’s have been married for 17 years and have four children.
